THE MARIANA TRENCH

Isn’t that incredible? Can you imagine what type of life might be down there? Have you seen the movie the Abyss?

And in case you can’t read the text on the graphic, here it is again:

0 FT: The black dot is an approximate scale representation of a 6+ foot tall person.

350 FT: Maximum diving depth of a blue whale, the largest known animal on Earth. Large-sized, full grown adult represented on scale.

1250 FT: Height of the Empire State Building. If you were to drop the whole skyscraper into the Mariana Trench, it would be covered with water at this point.

3280 FT: After this point, light can no longer penetrate the water.

5280 FT: One mile under water.

13,120 FT: Beginning of the Abyssal Zone. Water pressure at this level reach (sic) around 11,000 pounds per square inch. Weird, frightening-looking creatures inhabit these depths, such as the Fangtooth, the Flashlight Fish, and the Anglerfish.

20,000 FT: The Hadal Zone. Pressure levels reach 16,000 pounds per square inch, over 1,100 times the amount of pressure on the surface. Although sparse, life exists at these levels.

31,000 FT: Average cruising altitude for a commercial airliner. For those that have viewed the height out of an airplane window, let this be a scale reference.

36,000 FT: The Challenger Deep, lowest point in the ocean. It is believed there are lower undiscovered points, as only around 10% of the ocean has been mapped.

I should point out, but, that the Challenger Deep, the deepest part of the Mariana Trench lies outside the border of the Mariana Trench Marine National Monument. Challenger Deep is 180 miles from Fais Island, an outer island of Yap, and 190 miles from Guam, which means that the deepest point of the ocean falls under the jurisdiction of the Federated States of Micronesia.

Furthermore, the most biologically and geologically diverse area of the monument and the only unit within the larger monument that protects a single drop of water or any flora and fauna is the Islands Unit, which is composed of the federal submerged lands and waters surrounding the island of Asuncion, Maug, and Uracas. So while the thrill seeker may want to say they dived to the deepest point in the ocean, on the planet in fact, the area of the most interest to science lies hundreds of miles to the north in waters that are deep, but not as deep as Challenger Deep.

All three units of the monument, the Islands Unit, the Volcanic Unit, and the Trench Unit, are fascinating and vital to science, but I predict that after a round of adventurers dive to Challenger Deep a few times over the next couple of years, they will turn their attention to the Islands Unit because that is where you can see new underwater volcanoes erupting, chemosynthetic bacteria growing on top of photosynthetic coral, and other natural wonders that occur nowhere else on the planet.

Father Of All Bombs

Tsar Bomba, nicknamed 'Big Ivan' by its makers, was the largest nuclear bomb ever built. With a yield of 50 megatons, it was 4000 times more powerful then the bomb that devastated Hiroshima.

This video shows various important aspects of the bomb, including its development at Arzamas-16, the secret Soviet nuclear weapons research facility and its transportation to the Tu-95 bomber, which was painted white for the test to reflect the heat of the blast. Several different views of the explosion are also shown, including several filmed from the air and ground alike. The last few shots are of the ground zero several days after the test.

Iraqi - Pressure - Vault

From a geographic standpoint, Iraq is caught between a rock and a hard place. Its neighbors offer either pressure or non-support. Syria creates pressure by encouraging insurgent elements to freely enter western Iraq. From the east, Iran inflicts pressure on Iraq’s political institutions by funding Shiite militias. Friendly support from Iraq’s northern border has been limited by clashes between the Turkish forces and Kurdish nationalistic groups, which create a hostile environment for the two neighbors. Saudi Arabia, disappointed from what it views as a Shiite-dominated Iraq, offers no substantial help to solve Iraq’s southern issues.

The result is a ‘pressure vault’ in which a combination of pressure and non-support from Iraq’s neighbors threatens to implode the stability of the country.

Signs - of - Occupation

Before / after satellite photos of Saddam's palace in Baghdad, Iraq. Note the new parking lots, modular housing, restoration of the waterworks, and other interesting markings of new tenants in the emperor's crib.

Shiite - vs - Sunni

September, 2006. There now exists an 'arc' of domination by Shiite militias in the north of Baghdad. Sunni militias have carved out a few enclaves in Baghdad's south, and are now expanding into nearby areas. The pieces of the puzzle are slowly aligning themselves as Iraq's sectarian divide widens.

Predictions for the near future:

(1) Azamiyah is being surrounded and will eventually fall into Shiite control.

(2) The Sunnis are pursuing territorial ambitions to consolidate their control in the southern areas of Sadiyah, Dora, and Muradiyah. This will lead to a new 'river war' between the Sunni and the Shiite militias on the opposite sides of the Tigris.

(3) The growth of these 'neighborhood coalitions' will marginalize the influence of the soldiers and politicians in the Green Zone.

METHOD OF TREATMENT

1. As you wake up in the morning before brushing teeth, drink
four glasses of water each of 160 ml.

2. Brush and clean the mouth but do not eat or drink anything for
45 minutes.

3. After 45 minutes you may eat and drink as normal.

4. After 15 minutes of breakfast, lunch and dinner do not eat or
drink anything for two hours.

5. Those who are old or sick and are unable to drink four glasses

The Beauty of MAtheMazic

1 x 8 + 1 = 9
12 x 8 + 2 = 98
123 x 8 + 3 = 987
1234 x 8 + 4 = 9876
12345 x 8 + 5 = 98765
123456 x 8 + 6 = 987654
1234567 x 8 + 7 = 9876543
12345678 x 8 + 8 = 98765432
123456789 x 8 + 9 = 987654321

1 x 9 + 2 = 11
12 x 9 + 3 = 111
123 x 9 + 4 = 1111
1234 x 9 + 5 = 11111
12345 x 9 + 6 = 111111
123456 x 9 + 7 = 1111111
1234567 x 9 + 8 = 11111111
12345678 x 9 + 9 = 111111111
123456789 x 9 +10= 1111111111

9 x 9 + 7 = 88
98 x 9 + 6 = 888
987 x 9 + 5 = 8888
9876 x 9 + 4 = 88888
98765 x 9 + 3 = 888888
987654 x 9 + 2 = 8888888
9876543 x 9 + 1 = 88888888
98765432 x 9 + 0 = 888888888

Brilliant, isn't it?
And finally, take a look at this symmetry:

1 x 1 = 1
11 x 11 = 121
111 x 111 = 12321
1111 x 1111 = 1234321
11111 x 11111 = 123454321
111111 x 111111 = 12345654321
1111111 x 1111111 = 1234567654321
11111111 x 11111111 = 123456787654321
111111111 x 111111111= 12345678987654321

Keys to a longer life

1. Drink tea. You would expect this from the British, but the research showing tea's ability to lower blood pressure and cholesterol actually comes from Japanese and Norwegian scientists. Apparently any kind of non-herbal tea will do.
2. Sleep more and laugh more. People with chronic sleep problems have a higher mortality rate, whereas those who get a good night's rest suffer fewer illnesses. People who cultivate laughter heal faster and feel better.
3. Take cold showers. Brrr! But research in England and Germany confirm that the chill enhances resistance to colds, boosts immunity and fertility, and reduces the risk of heart attack.
4. Drink something red. The British Medical Journal reports that red wine is highest in antioxidants, but acknowledges that the same value can be achieved by drinking red grape juice.
5. Eat less and exercise moderately. On the island of Okinawa, where residents eat 20 percent less than other Japanese, the age-related death rate is 60 percent lower. As for exercise, 30 minutes of moderate sustained activity five times a week increases life expectancy.
6. Get a pet and get married. Pet owners have lower stress, cholesterol and blood pressure, and see their doctors less often. While you're at it, get a spouse as well. The single and divorced have the highest chance of contracting disease and dying from it.

21 tips , You should follow ....
